Spread Cheer with The “You’ve Been Jingled” Game! (With a FREE Printable!)

It’s not too late to spread some Christmas cheer in your neighborhood this year! The “You’ve Been Jingled” game is a great way to bless someone with a small gesture. And the kids will have fun running to the doorstep to leave those treats without being seen! Read on to find out how!

The basic rules of the game are…

  1. You print out two of these printables.

  2. You put together two “You’ve Been Jingled” bags - including a bell somewhere either in the bag or to hang on their door knob.

  3. You give those bags to two of your neighbors by leaving them on the front door step for them to find.

  4. Once you’ve been jingled you place the sign on your door stating so - to ensure everyone gets a chance to play!

First I got myself some bags. You can find the cutest bags at the Dollar Store this year! I found these and they were the perfect size and looked so classy!

Next I looked around the Dollar Store for items to put in my bags. I was able to find so much! I got this mug, an ornament, some candy and a box of hot chocolate packets. If you’re on a tight budget it’s nice to see what you can get at the Dollar Store before heading anywhere else - you’ll be surprised!

Since the theme here is “You’ve Been Jingled” I thought it more than appropriate to add in a jingle bell! I got the rope and bells pictured from Michael’s AKA the second happiest place on Earth. (The happiest place being Target.) You can either put your bells on the rope and hang them to your neighbors doorknob or you can simply tie a bow onto your bell and put them in their bags. Totally up to you!

Back to the Dollar Store finds! I got these cute boxes there and used them to hold my Super Easy Christmas Pretzels (highly recommend you try these!) I got so many compliments on this recipe! Even my friends who avoid the kitchen like the plague said they were easy to make!

I couldn’t have been happier with how they turned out! The boxes added the perfect touch. (And judging by our neighborhood Facebook page they were well received!) YAY!

I wanted to make them personal - while also remaining anonymous. So I added these cards to each bag as a way to encourage them and hopefully brighten their day. These cards were perfect! I loved the message they conveyed! Also - got them at the dollar store. (WIN-WIN!)

Finally I just threw in a few candy canes and assembled everything else into the bags! Super easy! I’ve seen our neighbors talking about the bags on our neighborhood Facebook page and it brings me joy! Plus the boys had so much fun doing drop-offs with me and Daddy while wearing their Santa hats! They were totally into it!
